As they say " we are smokin".

We have received no less than 3 Trophies, 3 Golds, and 13 medals in total. All from the one show.

This continues our run of successes in the national and regional wines shows of Australia in the last two years. Judged against our fellow piers throughout our home region has made our wine team justifiably very proud . We are a true Boutique Winery and to receive such accolades when judged against other wineries who believe in making small volume high quality hand made wines is very special.

In recent weeks, we have picked up no less than 68 medals in total, including 6 Gold medals and 2 Trophies and been rated the equal top 5 Star wine by Winestate magazine in their upcoming Hunter Regional Tasting Edition.

It is most gratifying to receive this broad based accolation for our wine styles and it certainly tells us we must be doing 'something right'.

WHEN DO I TASTE IT?

We continue to be overwhelmed by the positive and enthusiastic response to our Aged Wine release programmes. Thank you to all those that have taken time to send their thoughts and compliments. Our aged wines are proving very popular and our biggest problem in the future will be satisfying all those wanting to purchase in the future. In fact, in the future we will have no choice but to allocate our aged wines. In order to assist us in this endeavour click the link to complete a form and be placed on our Aged Wine Enthusiasts List. We are a little disappointed with the response to our "SEEN ENJOYING SADDLER'S PHOTO COMPETITION".

While we did get some entries, we didn't really get enough to make a competition of it. So to up the anti we are going to offer a Gold Medal pack of wine to the winner. This case of wine will comprise of only wines that have won Gold medals and will be worth over $500 retail.

So, next time you are enjoying a bottle of Saddler's get the camera out and send us your best pic!

A LITTLE TOUCH OF SADDLER'S IN THE PACIFIC:

As mentioned previously, there is now a little touch of Saddler's in the middle of the Pacific. While most people find it hard to believe, we have to say it is true...John has built a heavenly villa on the beautiful island of Rarotonga, for holiday rental. This villa is luxury personified, so if you are looking for a break, a honeymoon or even a second honeymoon let him know and of course as a Club member you will receive an excellent price. The villa is called Heliconia and is custom designed for couples...very very romantic.
