Winemaker's Details:The Chrome range of wines represents the culmination of 20 years of winemaking and viticulture from some of Australia’s premium fruit growing regions.
As expected this wine looks bright and youthful. True varietal characteristics effortlessly lift from the glass with blackcurrant fruits and herbaceous notes of blackberry leaf the first to be noticed. Whilst complexed further by the American oak in which this wine was matured, subtle hints of dark chocolate and tobacco leaf add further intrigue.
The elegance of this palate is there to be seen. Fine, youthful tannins provide balance and texture to this well structured wine. The palate is long and clean with a savoury finish and clean acid making this not only an excellent ‘food style’ wine but one with great cellaring potential.

Roast rack of Lamb with crushed potatoes and caramelised garlic.
